I know it’s not Sunday, but it’s still pretty much the beginning of the week so I’m going to tell you all what I’m reading this week.

My True Love Gave to Me

I am currently reading this and I’m on the seventh short story (I’m not really enjoying the seventh one though). So far I liked the first one, the second one confused me, the third one made me emotional over food, the fourth one just felt like a cross between two different Christmas movies (not a bad thing just made it feel unoriginal), the fifth one wasn’t as good as I would have hoped, but better than Isla and the Happily Ever After, and the sixth one I thought I wouldn’t like, but kind of did.

I’m listening to this on audio at the same time as reading My True Love Gave to Me (not at the same exact time I’m just currently reading both). This is my first Jane Austen book and I’m really enjoying it. It is kind of slow at times (I knew it would be which is why I chose the audio book over the physical book), and at one point I listened to Emma and her friend (I can’t remember her name) reading this letter from Mr. Elton (is that the right guy? I don’t know there’s too many men in here) for over an hour and in the movie this scene took about five minutes. Other than that the movie appears to be really close to the book which is always awesome.

Once I finish My True Love Gave to Me I’ll switch my physical book to Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout, which probably has one of the worst covers ever. I don’t know if I’ll like it as much as the first one, but I’m sure It’ll be fun and quick either way.

What are you planning on reading this week?

Thank you for reading and I will see you guys next time. Bye!!
