I didn’t do day 5 due to a Christmas party. Christmas parties happen sometimes.

Today I am giving you my top 6 books I wish I read in 2016.

1. The Assassins Blade by Sarah J Maas

This book was something I was going to read right after I read Queen of Shadows in 2015. That didn’t happen. I then planned to read it before Empire of Storms came out. That also didn’t happen. One day it will, I don’t know when, but it will happen.

2. The Hammer of Thor by Rick Riordanthe_hammer_of_thor

This is the second book in the Magnus Chase trilogy (it’s a trilogy right?) and I wanted to finish out the year with it (because I did that with The Sword of Summer last year), but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I haven’t been in the mood for a Rick Riordan book lately except Percy Jackson. I’m always in the mood for Percy Jackson. Lately I’ve been in the mood for something less complicated. Magnus Chase is very complicated, because I get very confused with all the worlds and realms and such. It messes with my head.

3. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

I don’t necessarily “wish” I read this book this year, but I did plan to and it didn’t happen. It wasn’t really a top priority or anything, just something that interested me.

4. Legend by Marie Lu

This is something I have already read, but I really wanted to reread it sometime this year and it just never happened. I really wanted to see how my feelings towards this series would have changed after reading so much more since then. I did read the Prodigy graphic novel though and loved it a lot, so maybe I still like these books, or maybe I just really like the graphic novels. Who knows.

5. Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

Since I had started reading graphic novel versions of some books I had read I got interested in reading a graphic novel that isn’t an adaptation of a novel. This one seemed really interesting and also I heard it was good and funny. I like things that are good and funny.

6. United We Spy by Ally Carterunited-we-spy_612x918

This is the last book in the Gallagher Girls series and I really wanted to read it this year since I started a trend of reading one in the series each month, but then I dropped the trend. I just really need to know what happens.

What books do you wish you read this year?

Thank you for reading and I will see you guys next time. Bye!!!
